Today I reached 31 weeks and I’m ecstatic it was spent in Hawaii. So we left on Monday September 28th at 5am and arrived that same day here on Oahu around 1pm. It was a long day. Kanin did pretty well on the plane considering he had hardly slept, but he’s 3. Doing “well on a plane” is relative. LoL. At least he didn’t scream the whole time, or really at all. Thank god for a good child and proper planning. =)
Today we did a maternity photoshoot with a Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep photographer and I’m beyond exctied to see them. The ones we saw were amazing. The whole process was fun and they really captured what we wanted. They got to know us on a personal level so it wasn’t just a “point and shoot” session either. It makes me so happy to be able to capture our time here in Hawaii and then go back to Maine and get more done with our friend, Meghan Fulk in a completely different atmosphere. It’ll be pretty fall leaves and a whole different lay out. Exciting! http://meghanfulkphotography.com/ https://www.facebook.com/MeghanFulkPhotography
Our time in Hawaii has been fun and full of lots of sun. Thankfully Kanin has my skin and tans really easily. He’s having a blast here and asks for the “sand and water” every day, multiple times of day. Even if he just left the beach. He really is our kid. Aerilyn is kicking up a storm and I think the weightlessness the water creates is fun for her too. Every time I get out of the water she starts kicking as if protesting I’m getting out. Silly girl. She’s also enjoying all the food we’re eating. Food, I’m waiting for that now. Of course she kicks as soon as I think of it too. Haha.
Today also marks the first day of October. October is pregnancy and infancy loss awareness month. Always remember the babies that never got to become what their parents dreamed. Go Pink and blue in awareness. I will change mine once I get home.
Well I’m keeping this one short since this is vacation time and not computer time. This picture shows what my dress was today at our photoshoot. =) Happy 31 weeks and aloha from Hawaii.
